University of Connecticut Division of Student Affairs Center for Students with Disabilities

Regional Campus Students

Overview

Regional campus students who are requesting accommodations are encouraged to contact the Disability Contact Person identified on their campus to request accommodations. Regional campus students should follow the Step-by-Step Guide to Requesting Accommodations and submit their intake forms and documentation to the appropriate Disability Contact Person on their campus. To determine who to contact on your campus, please visit the Regional Campus Contacts listing.

Many students who begin their program at a regional campus may choose to campus change to Storrs in order to complete their program. Students with disabilities who campus change from a regional campus to Storrs have the opportunity to work with the Center’s Regional Campus Coordinator, Jacqueline Santiago, in order to assist with the transition to the main campus. Students who were approved for accommodations at their regional campus may receive the same accommodations at Storrs. If a student requests new accommodations, he/she may be asked to provide additional documentation to support the request. Students are encouraged to contact Jacqueline Santiago, Regional Campus Coordinator, at jacqueline.santiago@uconn.edu to discuss this process.
