Notetaking Service
Notetakers Wanted
The Center for Students with Disabilities (CSD) is currently seeking a qualified and reliable notetaker for the courses listed below. Notetaking assistance is provided as an accommodation for students whose documented disabilities interfere with their abilities to take notes. Notetaker assistance is intended for a student's personal study use only and is not to be shared with other individuals. This service is provided as a necessary academic accommodation and is not considered a substitute for a student's full participation in each class.
If you are currently taking one or more classes with the same course and section number that are listed below, please come to the reception desk at the Center for Students with Disabilities (CSD) located in the Wilbur Cross Building, Room 204, as soon as possible to complete the necessary paperwork. You will also receive information regarding online training and payment for this service. The hiring process for this position is based on a first come first serve basis, availability of opening positions, and satisfying the job qualifications listed below.
Notetaker qualifications:
- Regular class attendance
- Legible and comprehensive notes
- Completion of an online notetaking assistance training (to be completed after hiring)
- Submitting notes on HuskyCT website within 24 hours of each class. If you submit your notes after the 24 hour period, you will not receive payment for those notes.
- Ability to type notes and upload them to HuskyCT (typing notes that contain graphs, diagrams, formulas, etc. may not be possible. If you feel this is the case, you must scan your notes and upload them onto the CSD Notetaking site on HuskyCT. Scanners are available at the CSD if necessary.)
Don’t see a class you are currently taking? The list will be updated daily, so check back often for new availability.
