Student Health Services

The Student Health Service is open 24 hours/day throughout the academic year (except for major holidays) from 8:00 a.m. Mondays through 4:00 p.m. Saturdays, and on Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Full primary care services are provided by physicians, nurse practitioners, and other health care professionals Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. year-round. An Advice Nurse is available 24 hours/day when Student Health Services is open. When the Student Health Services is closed - from Saturday at 4:00 p.m. through Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and Sunday at 4:00 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m., a registered nurse (on call from her home) will offer you medical guidance, reassurance, assistance in decision-making, and referrals as necessary. A wide variety of services are offered to students including primary health care, acute care, mental health counseling, inpatient care, laboratory, radiology, physical therapy, and pharmacy. Specialized services and programs include a women’s clinic, allergy clinic, athletic medicine, nutritional counseling, health education, a cold self-care center and HIV antibody testing.
