Parking and Shuttle/Accessible Van Service (AVS) Information

  • Transportation Services has a Facebook page! Check it out for bus route changes and detours, emergencies involving buses and AVS vans, out of the ordinary operating hours for storms, snow, and other emergencies.
  • Accessible Van Service
    The Accessible Van Service is available to students, faculty, and staff. The service provides safe and timely campus and local transportation.Accessible vans are equipped with wheelchair lifts, ensuring that all passengers get to their classes, jobs, residences, and activities safely and efficiently.

  • Accessible Parking
    Visitors to the University who wish to park in designated handicapped parking spaces must display a state-issued handicapped parking placard or license plate. Handicapped accessible parking spaces are blue and designated with the symbol of accessibility. These spaces are available in most faculty, staff and student lots and are available on a first-come first-served basis. If accessible parking is not available, additional accessible parking is available in North and South Garages. More Info »

Current Campus Construction

  • Due to the demolition of the red buildings in the center of campus, sidewalk access has temporarily changed. The sidewalk between the CUE Building and the Wilbur Cross Building is now blocked; access is still available through the sidewalk next to the Hall Building (north side of the building). If you have any questions or access concerns, please contact the CSD at 486-2020 csd@uconn.edu.
